For a dropshipper selling electric scooters, the warehouse decision comes before the product decision. It sets your delivery promise, your return address, and — in the EU — who carries the cost of a customer changing their mind.
This article covers what actually differs between shipping from US stock and EU stock, and the questions worth settling with your supplier before your first order.
Why the shipping origin matters more than the price list
Two sellers can list the same scooter at the same price and run completely different businesses, because everything downstream of the order depends on where the unit physically sits:
- Delivery expectation. Domestic stock means days. Cross-border means weeks, customs, and a tracking page that stops updating.
- Returns. A customer returning a scooter needs an address in their own region. If it has to cross a border, return shipping can exceed the margin on the order.
- Duties and taxes. Domestic stock has already cleared import. Cross-border shipments may arrive with a bill the customer did not expect — and that bill becomes your problem in the review section.
- Withdrawal rights. EU consumers have a 14-day cooling-off right. That right exists regardless of where you ship from, but honouring it is far cheaper when the goods are already in the EU.
What US warehouse stock means here
We hold inventory in two US warehouses — California and Georgia — so orders can be served from the coast nearest the delivery address rather than from a single point.
For US-bound orders this gives you a domestic delivery promise, a domestic return path, and no import step at the customer's door. We arrange shipping within 3 days of an order being placed, and US orders typically arrive in about 2–5 days. Orders ship from the warehouse that serves the delivery address.
Returns come back to 10985 Oleander Ave Ste.100, Fontana, CA 92337, United States, within a 30-day window from delivery.
What EU warehouse stock means here
We also stock in an EU warehouse, and we have been running overseas warehouse stocking for 3+ years. For EU customers the practical differences are:
- DDP, not a surprise bill. EU orders are delivered duty-paid — duties and taxes are included, so the buyer is not asked for extra money at the door. This is the single most common reason EU customers abandon a cross-border order.
- No customs step. Delivery stays inside the EU single market.
- About 2–5 days to arrival, on the same 3-day dispatch commitment as US orders.
-
Returns stay in-region. EU returns go to our Poland warehouse, so your customer is not shipping a 15 kg scooter back across a border — and your 14-day cooling-off obligation stays affordable to honour.

EU-stock models are grouped in one place on our site so you can see exactly what is available in-region: EU warehouse stock.
The decision, in one table
| If your customers are… | Ship from | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Mostly in the US | US stock (CA or GA) | Domestic delivery, domestic returns, no import bill |
| Mostly in the EU | EU stock | No customs for the buyer; 14-day withdrawal stays affordable |
| Split between both | Both, allocated by destination | One product, two fulfilment zones — but check stock depth per model |
| Outside both | Ask first | Cross-border terms, duties and transit are not covered by either warehouse promise |
How the dropshipping arrangement works
Our dropshipping service is built so the partner does not hold inventory. There is zero inventory pressure and no threshold to start: partners do not stock up, do not prepay for goods, and do not carry logistics or warehousing cost.
Two terms worth stating plainly, because most suppliers leave them vague: there is no minimum order quantity, and there is no per-order handling fee. You pay for the goods you sell and nothing else to run the channel.
When an order is generated, our team arranges product packaging, delivery and after-sales service to the end customer. Orders support formal order tracking and standardised delivery procedures, with after-sales handled by us rather than pushed back to you.
That model is why the warehouse question matters so little to your working capital and so much to your customer promise: you are not paying for the warehouse, but your buyer experiences it.
The terms, answered
These are the questions that decide whether dropshipping works at your price point. Here are our answers, not a "contact us for details":
| Question | Answer |
|---|---|
| Minimum order quantity | None. No MOQ to start or to stay in the programme. |
| Per-order handling fee | None. No per-order fee on top of the goods. |
| EU duties and taxes | DDP. EU orders are delivered duty-paid; the buyer is not billed at the door. |
| Delivery time | About 2–5 days for both US and EU destinations, after our 3-day dispatch. |
| EU returns | Sent to our Poland warehouse (Teknihall Service) — in-region, not cross-border. |
| US returns | Fontana, California — within the 30-day window from delivery. |
| Stock-up requirement | None. No prepayment for inventory, no warehousing cost carried by you. |
Where EU returns go
If an EU customer changes their mind inside the 14-day cooling-off window, the unit comes back to our warehouse in Poland — not to the US. Please put the customer code on the recipient line so the warehouse can match the parcel to the order.

Two things still worth asking us
Everything above is fixed. These two vary by partner, so they are worth a conversation rather than a web page:
- Who appears on the label. Your customer receives the parcel — decide up front whether your brand or ours is the shipper of record.
- Stock depth per model, this month. "EU stock available" is not the same as "the model your customer wants is in EU stock right now". Ask for the current per-model position before you run a promotion on it.
We would rather answer both before you list the product than after your first customer asks.
Where to start
If you are selling into one region, start with the stock you can actually see: US stock models or EU stock models.
If you are building a reseller or dropshipping channel, the programme terms are on our dropshipping service page, and distributor rebates and promotional support are covered under the partner programme. For anything order-specific, contact us and we will answer with numbers rather than a brochure.
